Visual Strategy Foundations is not a sampler, an overview, or a teaser for something bigger. It’s a comprehensive course, and it's 5 hours in total because it teaches the full method behind everything I do: the thinking, hands-on labs and workshops, worksheet toolkits, and exhibit templates. You won’t finish with a few ideas to consider. You’ll finish with content and real tools you can use on your case.

About your teacher

Amy Hall is a nationally recognized visual trial strategist who has worked exclusively with plaintiff firms for more than 19 years. She has consulted on hundreds of cases in nearly every state, including personal injury, medical negligence, product defect, and fraud, as well as specialized areas such as trucking and birth trauma. Her work spans multi-district litigation, class actions, and individual plaintiff cases, and includes some of history’s largest verdicts and settlements.

Who is this course for? Foundations is exclusively for lawyers, paralegals, and legal assistants who represent and work on behalf of plaintiffs. It’s the right starting point if visual trial strategy is new to you. If you’ve worked with me before, it’s also an excellent refresher on the core concepts and techniques.
What is visual trial strategy? Visual trial strategy is an approach to litigation that joins case development with communication. You use it to zero in on what a case is about and present it so jurors can understand it, learn it, remember it, and care about it.
How will visual trial strategy benefit my clients? You’ll develop cases more efficiently, understand them more deeply, and communicate and persuade more effectively. Your clients benefit most.
What is the format, and what do I receive? You'll receive 5 hours of instruction through presentations and demonstration videos, divided into bite-size lessons of about 20 minutes each. Downloadable materials include readings, worksheet toolkits, and exhibit templates you can use right away. Start any time and study at your own pace.
Is this course approved for CLE credit? Do I get a certificate? Trial Strategy Academy courses are not specifically credentialed for CLE credit. Some jurisdictions allow attorneys to request credit for unaccredited programs, so check your state bar’s rules. When you finish the course, you can request a certificate of completion showing the course title, instructor, date, and hours of instruction.
What do you do? For more than 19 years, I’ve consulted with law firms around the country to develop visual strategy for their cases. My engagement is one case, one week, ideally early in case development. Learn more on my consulting website.
